A romantic suspense e-book
When Grace Nolan last saw Alex Rossi he was about to fire a gun at her. Seven years, and a little boy, later she needs to see him again. Someone has taken her son, Danny, and in return they want her to bring in Alex Rossi. To get her son back she will step back in to a life she had long since left behind and trust her secret to the one man she doesn't think she should.
Alex Rossi is a secret agent leading a double life and he's determined to find his mother's murder. Grace and Alex race to save Danny's life and each finds more than they bargained for in his captor and their mission.
Shannon Stacey has written a fast-paced story that will keep its reader interested from the minute the book is picked up. The suspense is real, as is the romance, and it even gets quite hot. I thought this book was fantastic and was almost disappointed when it came to an end. There was no part where I didn't suspend disbelief and I liked the interaction between all characters. My very slight complaint, and it is slight, is that I didn't think some of the dialogue during a sex scene suited the scene (and I'm not generally averse to it if it is suitable to the characters and script).
Overall I would recommend 72 Hours to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense and especially for those who like a good fast read. I didn't stop reading once I started, and I look forward to more from this author (hopefully she will make the Devlin Group a series).5 Kisses
