A chick lit short e-book
Daria Wyatt didn't want to go to her fifteen-year high school reunion, even though she is now a Capital Hill attorney and no longer a wallflower. Still memories of that awkward time in high school don't do much for her self-esteem. After her sister, Kara, insists on her going, Daria feels it's fair to borrow from Kara's closet. Of course she shouldn't have done that in such a hurry as she's now wearing the most awful pair of shoes ever seen.
Greg McCauley finally meets a beautiful, intelligent girl but doesn't know her real name. All he knows is those awful shoes topped by a fantastic pair of legs.
This very fast paced short took me back to my own high school years and the songs and timeline did a good job of setting the scene. I liked the heroine and the hero and would have liked to see a little more of their interaction together. I understand this was a short piece but I did find there were parts that moved a bit too fast that I wished would have been fleshed out a bit more. I would love to see this as a longer piece as the premise is hilarious. All in all a great fast read and it will, I'm sure, make readers long for more from this author.
