I was always so annoyed at the &quot;internal&quot; monologue employed by soap operas (especially when they actually show a person talking to them self) just to rehash yesterday&#039;s drama. When reading a book, you already READ yesterday&#039;s drama--so yes, internal monologue needs to be fresh and ratchet tension.</description>
