Great article!

I was always so annoyed at the “internal” monologue employed by soap operas (especially when they actually show a person talking to them self) just to rehash yesterday’s drama. When reading a book, you already READ yesterday’s drama–so yes, internal monologue needs to be fresh and ratchet tension.
